Nervous patients
If the dentist makes you anxious, let us know
Feeling anxious about dental visits is completely okay. Many people feel this way. We're here to make your experience as calm, kind and reassuring as possible.

What we do differently
Dr Caitlin Oakley cares for many patients who once felt nervous about coming to the dentist. She has a gentle, steady approach — taking her time, explaining each step softly and checking in often. Her focus is on helping you feel safe, supported and in control throughout your visit.
If it has been a long time
If you haven't seen a dentist for a while, there's no pressure and no judgement. We simply meet you where you are, help you feel comfortable again and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
Things that help
Little things can make a big difference:
- Bringing someone you trust
- Using headphones to listen to your own music
- Simply letting us know what worries you
When we understand what you need, we can shape the appointment to help you feel more at ease.
Start with a conversation
You don't have to begin with treatment. A gentle chat with Dr Caitlin can help you settle in, ask questions and understand what to expect. It's a soft, supportive way to start, especially if anxiety has held you back.
