New patients
Your first visit
Start with a full dental exam and digital X-rays, or add a scale and clean and fluoride treatment — either way, you leave knowing exactly where things stand.

What happens
Caitlin will ask about your general health and any medications, then look at your teeth, gums and the soft tissues of your mouth. X-rays show what is happening between and beneath the teeth, which an examination alone cannot.
Then you talk it through. If anything needs attention Caitlin will explain what is involved and what it costs. Nothing is booked and no treatment is started unless you give us the go ahead.
What to bring
Your health fund card if you have one and a list of any medications you take. If your child is eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, bring their Medicare card too.
If you have had X-rays or treatment elsewhere recently, it helps to mention it so we are not repeating things unnecessarily.
If you are anxious
That's normal for many new patients at our practice. Cait works slowly and steadily, takes time to explain what's happening, and uses needle-free options where they're suitable.
